We're the only float studio in Western Australia to have written and recorded our own in-house float meditation series.
Seven progressive programs designed specifically for the float environment — voiced by our own team of meditation teachers and float experts. Built for first-time floaters who can't switch off, and for regulars who want to go deeper every session.
Complimentary with every float. Or float in silence — your choice.

| Float 3 — Happy | Breathwork to stimulate the vagus nerve |
| Float 4 — Content | Thought awareness meditation |

First time floating?
We've got you. Staff will walk you through everything when you arrive — and our 7 guided meditations are designed especially for first-timers and overthinkers. You'll fill out a short intake form before your visit (link sent with your booking confirmation).
How to make the most of your visit
Suggestions our regulars love:
- Pair your float with an infrared sauna session to help your body release tension before stepping into silence.
- If you're feeling mentally overstimulated and physically tight, try combining a float with a massage for deeper nervous system relief.
- Our weekly or monthly membership makes it easy to float consistently — especially if you're managing stress or burnout.
- Add a contrast session (ice bath + Finnish sauna) for a more energising recovery experience.
Float FAQs
How often should I float?
You wouldn't go to the gym once and expect results — same with floating. For lasting benefit to your mental and physical health, we recommend floating between once a week and once a month. Best results come with regular use.
How long do I stay in the float tank?
A regular session is 60 minutes of float time, plus 15 minutes before and after to shower — 90 minutes total room time. Music plays for the last 5 minutes to signal the end — in the pod, a voice will say "your session has ended"; in the open pool, the lights come back on and a doorbell sounds.
I'm claustrophobic / anxious — can I still float?
Yes. At Inglewood we have an open float pool with no lid — large enough for two people, so bring a friend if you wish. In the pod rooms you're in complete control: keep the lights on, leave the lid open. There's no sense of space or time once you're in, and you won't sink or roll over. Our staff will answer any questions before you start.
Will I fit in the pod?
Unless you're over 7ft and weigh more than 200kg, you're good to go. If you're worried, book the open float pool room — it's much larger with plenty of space to stretch out. We've hosted the England rugby team in it.
What do I wear to float?
In the pod rooms, you float in your own private locked room — most people wear nothing. Swimwear is fine if you prefer. In the open pool, you can bring a friend so swimwear is up to you.
How do I prepare?
Eat a small meal 1–2 hours before — too hungry or too full are both distracting. Don't shave or wax that day (salt stings). Avoid caffeine if you want to fully relax. Skip if you've coloured your hair in the last 7 days.
What do I bring?
Nothing required — we supply towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, moisturiser and even a hairdryer. All products are paraben and sulphate free. If you wear contacts, bring your case and solution. Comfy clothes for after are a nice touch.
Can two people float together?
Yes — our open float pool at Inglewood is WA's only couples float pool. Two people, same pool, same time. If you'd rather book separate rooms and meet in the lounge after, that works too.
I'm pregnant — can I float?
Yes, from 13 weeks onwards (please consult your doctor first if you have a high-risk pregnancy). Floating relieves pressure on tired joints. You can float on your tummy with pool noodles for hip and back relief — just ask.
I'm menstruating — can I float?
Personal choice. Same precautions as you'd take swimming.
I can't swim — does it matter?
Not at all. The water is only 30cm deep and the salt content makes it impossible to sink.
Is the tank clean?
Cleaner than your own bath. The high salt content prevents most microorganisms, plus we use chlorine/bromine, and the entire pool is filtered through 10-micron bags four times and passed through a UV filter between every session.
When can't I float?
If you have an infectious disease, open wounds, epilepsy or serious mental conditions, recently coloured/permed hair (last 7 days), fake tan on, are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or are under 16 without parent permission — please call us first.
Will my skin go wrinkly?
No — the high salt content prevents it.
What's your cancellation policy?
Appointments at Clear Mind Studio are reserved especially for you and require us to hold private rooms and schedule our team specifically for your session.
To keep things as fair and flexible as possible for our clients, we operate with a short six-hour cancellation window, which is significantly shorter than many wellness studios.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please do so at least six hours before your appointment time. Appointments cancelled within six hours of the scheduled start time will be treated as used.
For prepaid bookings, packages, memberships or gift cards, the session or value will be deducted. Bookings secured with a card on file will be charged the full service price.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
